Cyclance launches EMEA operations

Cylance, the company that is using artificial intelligence to proactively prevent advanced persistent threats and malware, today announced that it is expanding into the EMEA region with the establishment of a London-based team led by Evan Davidson, former enterprise sales director at FireEye. The company has also established a channel partnership with CoreSec Systems, a market leader in delivering cybersecurity and networking solutions in Sweden and Denmark.

Cylance already has a London office with partner Ignition Technologies, who are the leading channel provider of CylancePROTECT® endpoint protection products for the UK, where customer interest and adoption is incredibly strong. The partnership with CoreSec expands the increasing market demand in Nordic countries and is the next step to expedite the growth and adoption of Cylance’s proactive and preventive artificial intelligence technology. Demonstrating market demand, in just a few months since launching in the UK, the company already has dozens of large customers and over 180 large company opportunities in process of proof of concept across EMEA.
Mr. Davidson joins Cylance with over 20 years of sales experience in the telecommunications, networking and security industries. Before joining Cylance, Davidson was Sales Director UK and Ireland, spearheading FireEye’s growth in the enterprise market and he previously served as Business Development Manager, EMEA and Asia for cloud security company Veracode.
Mr. Evan Davidson, VP of EMEA Sales, Cylance said: “With incredible market adoption of CylancePROTECT being experienced across the US and internationally, I look forward to accelerating the already stellar growth through the EMEA region by building and leading a sales operation that will focus on our mission to protect every endpoint on the planet. It is very exciting to be leading the market adoption in EMEA of the genuinely groundbreaking, artificial intelligence-based approach to cybersecurity that is redefining the enterprise standard of endpoint security.”
Cylance Founder and CEO Stuart McClure added: “Evan Davidson is joining Cylance at a time when our preventative approach to cybersecurity is becoming widely recognized as radically more effective at neutralizing threats. We are looking forward to Cylance accelerating market demand across the EMEA region, and working with our channel partners to focus on customer success in preventing malware and advanced threats."
